During the third quarter of 2022, the top five Travel and Local apps on Android in Italy showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance:

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a noticeable decline in weekly downloads, starting at about 32.3K at the end of June and dropping to approximately 14.3K by the end of September. Active users also saw a downward trend, from around 1.5M in late June to roughly 1M by the end of the quarter.

Airbnb showed a similar pattern in weekly downloads, beginning with nearly 28.9K and decreasing steadily to around 10.7K by the quarter’s end. Active users peaked at over 500K in mid-August before declining to about 242K by the end of September.

Ryanair maintained a relatively stable download rate, starting at about 19.7K and ending the quarter with approximately 15.4K. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating around 170K to 190K throughout the quarter.

EasyPark - Parking made easy saw a peak in downloads in mid-August with about 30.6K, then experienced a gradual decline to around 12.3K by late September. Active users increased from around 72K at the end of June to nearly 90.8K by the end of the quarter.

FlixBus: Book Bus Tickets had a relatively stable download pattern, starting with about 15.5K and ending at approximately 11.6K. Active users saw a steady increase, beginning at around 81.3K and reaching up to 90.2K by the end of September.
